Chicken fajitas minus the tortillas.

2 weeks of 100% strict paleo down (with 1 planned cheat a week) last weeks cheat was dots last night, so random but it sounded good?

I feel 48292% better eating this way than any other way - lost 7lbs in the past 2 weeks of being strict, mostly water weight & detoxing I’m sure but I already feel like my stomach is more defined & my energy levels are great.

Hiked Mt Pilchuck on Saturday and was in awe of the crazy cliffs & rocky terrain towards the peak - blown away more and more everyday by the pacnw & can’t stop wondering why I didn’t start really exploring my home state earlier.

Conquered Mt Pilchuck! It was definitely one of the more challenging hikes so far this summer, it was only 6 miles but in a 2 mile span you climb nearly 4,000ft which was SO STEEP & rockey. To get into the little lookout you had to rock climb a few hundred feet & then climb up a ladder hanging off a cliff — holy shit, so gnarly BUT so worth it.

Some more of the crazy views on Mt Pilchuck - 10/10 would hike again.

Conquering my fear of (super high) ledges one hike at a time. It has been so fun to feel more & more adventurous with exploring my surroundings on hikes as I get more comfortable with being so high up.

The views at the top of Mt Si after a butt burning extra uphill climb at 4,000ft.

Made a new chipmunk friend at the top of Mt Si whom I gladly shared some coconut cream pie larabar with.

Perfect weather for yesterdays hike up Mt Si - sun was out but felt cool under the tree canopy.

Conquered Mt. Si this afternoon - 8 of the steepest most butt burning miles. View at the top was perfect.

MORE pictures to come later when I upload from my Nikon.

I think it’s very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by another person.

CURRENTLY READING - ‘A Walk In The Woods’ by Bill Bryson.

Extra excited for this one, feeling like I haven’t read a book I really really loved in a while & hoping this is the one.

BOOK 28/60 for 2014 reading goal - feeling pretty on point for my goal!

Sidenote: my cupcake shellac manicure is still looking flawless 2.5 weeks later.
